Biography
Tunde Busari is an accomplished media practitioner, consultant, author, and public affairs analyst from Osogbo. He holds a B.A. in History and International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja. His extensive career in journalism includes roles at prominent publications such as Third Eye Newspapers, Hallmark Newspapers, Saturday Tribune, Sunday Punch, National Mirror, The Nation, and Newswatch, where he progressed from Freelance Reporter to Senior Correspondent, Crime Editor, Assistant Editor, and eventually Publisher. His excellence in crime reporting was recognized by the Osun State Police Command, which honored him as an Outstanding Crime Journalist in 2012. Throughout his career, Busari has held significant leadership positions, including serving as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Tribune Chapel and as Vice-Chairman of the South West Group of Online Publishers (SWEGOP). He is also the founder and publisher of the digital news platform, TheTabloid.net. Beyond journalism, he is deeply involved in community and public service, having served as President of the Muslim Grammar School Osogbo Old Students Association, holds the chieftaincy title of Baaroyin of Itori-Egba, and currently acts as Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Community Communication.
